Daniel K. O'Neil, affectionately known as Danny to his friends and family, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2025. Born on November 15, 1951, Daniel grew up with his 9 siblings in Milton, Massachusetts.  Daniel's life was filled with joy and adventure, and he will be remembered as a loving, kind, and compassionate man.  His wonderful sense of humor made him always fun to be around and his thoughtfulness knew no bounds.

Daniel was a proud alumnus of Cathedral High School and furthered his education at Holy Cross Jr College in South Bend, Indiana. His academic journey laid a strong foundation for a successful career as a Realtor in the Greater Boston Area, where he dedicated over three decades of his life. Daniel's professionalism, intelligence and genuine care for his clients made him a respected figure in the industry.

Beyond his professional achievements, Danny was an art collector, animal lover and avid traveler, with many trips to France and various European destinations. He was a "foodie" who loved to cook and check out new restaurants. 

Daniel's love for mopeds was more than a hobby; it was a shared adventure with close friends who formed a moped group, creating lasting memories. 

Family was the cornerstone of Daniel's life. He is survived by his former wife, Sylvie Peron. He was the cherished son of the late Paul and Helen O'Neil of Milton. He was the beloved nephew of Katherine O'Neil of West Dennis. Daniel's legacy continues through his loving siblings: Paul O'Neil Jr of Hanson, Catherine Johnson of Indiana, Mary Ellen Niederhofer of New York, Stephen O'Neil and his wife Robin of Mashpee, Robert O'Neil and his wife Ellen of Hanover, John O'Neil and his wife Virginia of Mashpee, and Elizabeth O'Neil of California. He was predeceased by his brothers, Michael and Christopher O'Neil. He will also be dearly missed by his best friend of 57 years, David Lindholm, of Milton.

The void left by Daniel's passing will be deeply felt by his many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who were drawn to his generous spirit.

Daniel's life was a journey marked by the love he shared and the connections he made. Those who knew him will carry forward the light of his presence, cherishing the moments spent in his company and the wisdom he imparted. His laughter, stories, and kind-heartedness will be missed by all.
