Catherine B. (Walsh) Salmon

Catherine B. Salmon (Walsh) of Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of Dorchester, Milton and Scituate passed away peacefully September 14th surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1930 she came to the United States  in 1957.  She was a talented seamstress and worked for House of Bianchi in Boston producing beautiful wedding gowns for 40 years before she retired.  Catherine was a devout catholic, enjoyed spending quality time with her family, dancing and gardening.  Catherine was an extremely caring, hardworking, generous and nurturing person. She will be missed dearly. 

Beloved wife of the late John F.  Mother of John J. Salmon and his fiance Kerry Renzi of Murrells Inlet, SC.  Grandmother of Ryan C. Salmon and his wife Leah of Scituate and Lauren C. Nassaf and her husband Adam of Scituate.  Sister of Matthew Walsh of Hingham, Jeanne Kelly of Murrels Inlet, SC and the late Marie Willis and James Walsh.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Friday September 23rd from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton Saturday morning September 24th at 10:30 am.  Burial Milton Cemetery.
