Catherine E. (Procopio) Lepore Obituary
Catherine E. Lepore (Procopio), a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on November 22, 1932, to the late William and Elizabetta Procopio, Catherine's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and the joy she brought to those around her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Lepore, with whom she shared a deep and lasting love.
A proud graduate of Julie Billiart Central High School's class of 1949, Catherine's dedication to her community was evident early on. Her careers included working as an administrator with the Visiting Nurses. Catherine's commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her faith, as she lived her Christian beliefs through acts of service and love.
Catherine's legacy is lovingly carried on by her children: Roseann Smith and her husband Robert of Milton, Anthony R. Lepore of Milton, and Lisa M. Dodd and her husband Paul of Weymouth. Her memory will also be cherished by her sister, Flora Gulla of Woburn, and she is predeceased by her siblings, Domenic and Rose Procopio.
Catherine's role as a grandmother and great-grandmother was one of her greatest joys, and she will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Rachel Dresser, Paul Dodd, Christopher Dodd, and Victoria Dodd, as well as her great-grandchildren Alison Dresser and Emmaline Dresser.
An avid bowler, Catherine's competitive spirit and camaraderie were highlights of the St. Agatha League, where she was a well-known and beloved figure. Sundays were a special day in the Lepore household, as Catherine reveled in preparing sumptuous dinners for her children and grandchildren, a tradition that will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Described by those who knew her as loving, kind, and thoughtful, Catherine's impact on the world was profound. Her warm smile, generous heart, and the wisdom she imparted will continue to inspire her family and friends. Catherine's life was a beautiful tapestry of the relationships she nurtured, the care she provided, and the memories she created.
As we bid farewell to Catherine E. Lepore, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and grace. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light to all who were blessed to know her. Catherine's journey on earth has ended, but her story will be told for generations to come, as an example of a life well-lived and a love that never fades.
Visting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave. Milton on Tuesday June 24th from 9:00-10:00am. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agatha Parish Milton at 10:30am. Burial to follow Milton Cemetery
