Carolyn J. (Regan) Flaherty

Carolyn Flaherty of Milton MA peacefully passed away on November 7th. .  She was 83 years old.  Born in East Boston to the late Herbert and Catherine Regan. Loving mother of Arthur Flaherty and wife Lori Flaherty of The Villages, Florida.,Terry (Flaherty) MacLeod and husband Jim MacLeod of Milton, MA, Brian Flaherty and Lori Moses of Bridgewater, MA, Paula Flaherty of Easton MA. She is also survived by the late Kathleen Flaherty. Cherished sister of Thomas Regan and his wife (late) Angie Regan, also predeceased by her sister Ellen Monteiro (Regan) and her husband Donald Monteiro.  

Carolyn adored her family and loved spending quality time with her grandchildren Alyssa, Matthew, Kayla, Derek, Jared, and Kelly (late). She was blessed to have beautiful great grandchildren Kelize, James, Emily, Hazel, Briella and Caden. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.


Carolyn enjoyed being outdoors in her yard feeding the birds and tending to her garden. Throughout the years Carolyn loved ceramics and created holiday pieces that her children and grandchildren will love forever. She enjoyed traveling on summer vacations with her sister Ellen, and family vacations in the Lakes Region of NH with her children and grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home on Sunday 11/13 from 4:00-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday 11/14 at 10am in the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Milton Cemetery
