Camillo F. “Chuck” Mariano, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20th, his loving family by his side. Born in Boston, Chuck was raised and educated in Boston schools and graduated from Dorchester High School. He entered the Army after high school and served in the Korean War. He was a 43 year Maitre D’ at the European Restaurant in the North End of Boston and also was an employee of the Union Oyster House. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus #180, Dorchester and a volunteer at St. Agatha Church, Milton for many years. Chuck loved dancing at the Viking Club, Braintree, an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, and he was a talented artist who enjoyed painting with oils. He was the devoted son of the late Camillo and Annina (DiScuillo) Mariano, loving brother of Constance L. Casey of Pittsfield and the late Nancy Ventola, cherished uncle of Lisa Aimola, Geoffrey and Rebecca Casey, great uncle of 3, brother-in law of Dante Ventola Quincy, and longtime friend of Edward Jurevitch of Quincy. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Quincy Saturday at 10:0OAM. Visiting hour on Saturday morning 8:30 to 9:30 at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton prior to Mass. Burial to follow in Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Daughters of Mary of Nazareth, P.O.
