Brigid "Bridie" Glennon Obituary

Brigid “Bridie” Glennon (Kellegher)  12 December 1926 - 21 June 2023

Bridie, the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Kellegher, sister of the late Thomas, Patrick, Michael Kellegher and Mae Beirne, all from Co. Leitrim, Ireland.  Bridie came to America at the age of 21 years old and worked as a nanny for a family in Brookline. Bridie later met her loving husband, William, also originally from Ireland. Together they shared the love of ballroom dancing and married in May of 1954. Sadly, William passed away young, leaving Bridie to raise her five children with amazing resilience, strength and pride.

Bridie, a devoted and loving mother of Michael J. Glennon of Norton, William F. Glennon and his wife Janet of Easton, the late Kevin P. Glennon and his wife Diana of Weymouth, Stephen T. Glennon of Bridgewater, and the late Mary Warren and her husband Thomas of Pembroke.

Also loved by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
