Athanasia A. "Nancy" (Alex) Arvanitis

Athanasia A. (Alex) "Nancy" Arvanitis, age 85, of Milton, passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family Friday, February 26, 2021. She was a proud graduate of Girls Latin School in Boston and also attended Boston University. Nancy was a retired Banker of the Bank of America. She was the beloved wife of the late George D. Arvanitis and cherished mother of Dennis G. Arvanitis and his wife Mary Lynn of Michigan, Cindy G. Kavaltzis and her husband Andreas, and Katherine G. Papalambros and her husband George, all of Milton. Dear grandmother of Evangeline, Nancia, Demetra and James Kavaltzis, Matthew Papalambros, and Alexis and Andrew Arvanitis. Loving sister of Christos Alex and his wife Marie of Jamaica Plain, and Vassilios "Bill" Alex and his wife Emily of Brockton. She also leaves behind her adored granddogs Comet, Desi and Dante. The services at Milton Cemetery will be private due to Covid 19. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or to any charity of your choice.
