Anthony J. Costa age 93, of Charlestown, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on January 20, 2024. Anthony purchased and operated his first business at age 16 and went on to found multiple businesses, dedicating six decades to building a successful legacy and leaving an indelible mark on the industries he touched. His legacy is one of humility, kindness, and boundless generosity that touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. In honoring his memory, may we strive to embody these virtues in our own lives and continue the legacy of a truly exceptional human being.
Anthony was predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years, Helen and his son, Anthony. He is survived by his devoted son Peter Costa and wife Melissa, daughters Darlene Nagle and her husband Garrett, and Cheryl Sullivan and her husband Dwayne; grandchildren Anthony Costa and his wife Jessica, Chelsea Brennan and her husband Tom, Gillian Costa and her husband Christopher Popma, Ryan and Cameron Nagle, Tyler and Tarah Sullivan, Gus Costa; great grandchildren Anthony Costa, Parker and Charles Brennan, Holly Nagle, Lacie Sullivan and Jace Kelley. He was the cherished brother of Raymond and Daniel Costa, and the late Angela, Peter, Theresa, Matthew, Josephine, Rosemary and Camillo.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be from 4-7pm on Wednesday January 24th at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave., Milton, MA. Private burial to follow.
