Let us tell you about our mom ...

Ann was born on December 26th, 1933 in Dorchester, Mass. She loved her siblings dearly and remained close to them throughout their lifetime. While she was young, she was a homemaker to her children and husband. As her children got older, she worked various jobs until she retired when her grandchildren came along.

Ann's devout catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her faith in God was a comfort to her as she successfully battled breast cancer in her seventies.

Ann had a great love for her Irish heritage. She enjoyed her Irish music and dancing. She is a former member of the Irish Social Club of Boston and also loved traveling to Ireland with her husband to visit her family and loved ones.

She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She went by many names in her 91 years... some called her Ann, Anna, Aunt-Tan, Mrs. Fitz, and Nan. But we were the lucky ones to call her Ma. Her love for us and her Mayo guy Paddy Fitzpatrick never wavered.  God Bless you Ma...Say hello to Dad for us and let him know Mayo still hasn't won the All Ireland Trophy! Rest those beautiful blue eyes and until we meet again...

Love,

Patty, Jim. Mike, John, Marty, Mary Ellen and Billy.
