Angela McHugh Obituary


Angela Theresa McHugh (Cox) age 72 of Bridgton Maine formerly of Milton passed peacefully on September 23. 
Daughter of the late C. James Cox MPD and Angelina Cox (Veneto)
Loving mother of Christopher and his partner Sarah.
Devoted sister of Stephen Mark Cox of California.
Sister to 4 beloved brothers. James John , Terrence Joseph, Michael James and Joseph Richard.
"Nonnie" to her amazing grandchildren. Hannah Grace, John Paul Ignatius, Therese Felicity, Benjamin Xavier, Gabrial Elias and Tobias Alexander.
Loving sister in law of Joyce Cox.
God mother to Kerri  Cox Dalrymple both of Hull, Ma


Angela had the most wonderful daughter in law Rachel Speckamp McHugh and her husband Patrick. Angela considered Rachel to be the daughter that she never had. Always by her side in her time of need.


Angela was blessed with devoted friend Marie Redman and her husband Gerry of Quincy Ma. with her till the end through this incredible journey.
Wonderful friends  Dodie and Scott Winstead of Greenbrier, Tennessee. 


Angela was a bartender for many years at With Richards Restaurant in Cohasset Ma. where she was affectionately known as the "assassin".


Many years in banking followed working for Abington Savings Bank Sales Manager Cohasset Ma Branch, Eastern Bank Branch Manager Stoughton Ma.
Angela also owned her own nail salon "Angela For Nails".


Her final working adventure was as a Real Estate Broker.  She was the president of her company Amethyst Realty Corp.


Angela would like to be remembered for her love of animals and would like for everyone to do something kind for an animal in her memory.


Angela is hoping to reunite at the" Rainbow Bridge" with her dogs Friday, Kahlua, Rusty and Rustee. Her cats Rascal, Oreo, Latte, Smudgie and Light Foot.

A burial service was held privately at Milton Cemetery.
