Albert L. Nourse

Albert L. Nourse, age 88, of Braintree and Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully at home, in the company of his loving family, on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Born in Boston, he grew up in Wollaston and was a  member of the 1950 graduating class of North Quincy High School. A Navy veteran, Mr. Nourse retired as  a U.S. Navy Master Chief - E9. He was a longtime employee of Pneumatic Scale Corp. in Quincy, working as an Inspector.and serving on the Board of Directors of the Credit Union. He was also a retired Quarter Century Member of "PSC". Mr. Nourse was an avid golfer, playing at Countryside in Naples and at various courses on the South Shore area of MA. He had the good fortune of hitting "a hole in one" in January 2008. Throughout his life Mr. Nourse most enjoyed spending quality time with his family.

The beloved husband of the late Mary E. “Betty” (Keegan), he was the devoted father of Ellen A. Biotti and her husband Joseph of Wellesley, and Jeanne M. Nourse of SC as well as the cherished grandfather of Joseph Biotti of TN, Stephen Biotti, Christine Cordaro and her husband Kevin, and Daniel Biotti, all of Newton. He was the loving brother of Ethel Coleman and her husband Raymond of Harwich and the late Howard Nourse and dear uncle of John Coleman. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 9 AM at St. Clare Church,1244  Liberty St., Braintree. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery.  Donations may be made in his memory to South Shore Hospice, 30 Reservoir Park Drive, Rockland, MA 02370.
