Sean Michael Foley, age 29, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. Born and raised in Norwood, Sean was a decorated United States Army combat veteran of the Afghanistan Campaign (Operation Enduring Freedom). He served as a Calvary Scout with the 10th Mountain Division. Sean enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Mortorcycle, carpentry, reading current events and U.S. history, as well as traveling abroad and learning foreign languages. He was the beloved son of Margaret M. “Peggy” Foley of Milton and Patrick F. Foley, Jr. and his wife Monica of Florida, the brother of Patrick F. Foley, III and his wife Melissa of Bellingham, Daniel H. Foley of Boston and Robert W. Foley of North Carolina and loving grandson of Mary M. Quatromoni of Milton and the late Henry P. Quatromoni, Jr. and Patrick F. Foley. Sr. of Dorchester and the late Rosemary Foley. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, and cousins. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Sunday, July 8th from 2-6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton, Monday, July 9th at 10:00 am. Burial will be at the VA National Cemetery, Bourne, Monday afternoon at 1:15 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Mass Fallen Heroes.org
