Rosetta M. (Scoppettuolo) Abruzzese

Rosetta M.  Abruzzese of South Boston, born in Grottaminarda, Italy, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 9, 2019. She was the devoted mother of John Michael Abruzzese of Leesburg, VA, Anna Abruzzese Sater and her husband Ghaleb Sater of Acton, MA, Robert N. Abruzzese  and his wife Cecilia Abruzzese of Norwell, and Eva Abruzzese of Quincy, MA. Rosetta was the beloved daughter of the late Tommaso and Lucia Scoppettuolo and sister of the late Maria Pia and Michael Scoppettuolo. She is lovingly survived by her four grandchildren. Robert Evan and Alexandra Abruzzese and Jacqueline and Olivia Sater all of whom she adored and was so proud of. Rosetta was an avid cook and she loved to garden, travel, sing, and read. She will be dearly missed. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 4 to 8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 17, 2019 at St. Agatha Church, Milton, at 11:00AM.  Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
