Rita M. Raffaele

Rita M. Raffaele (Hurley), age 72, of Norton, formerly of Easton and Mattapan passed away at home September 1st surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Boston, she was raised in Mattapan and graduated from Cathedral High School and Boston School of Business Education where she was Class Valedictorian.  She has lived in Norton for the last 20 years and previously lived in Easton for 29 years.  She was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Lebaron Hills Country Club in Lakeville and Olde Cypress Golf Club in Naples, FL. 

Beloved wife of Joseph A.  Mother of Lisa M. Raffaele of Quincy, Michelle A. Raffaele of Hollywood, FL and Deanna R. Lund and her husband Eric of N. Attleboro.  Grandmother of Adrian and Tristan Lund.  Sister of Kathleen Hart of Norfolk, Edward Hurley of Cohasset and the late Geraldine Godes.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Monday from 4-8 pm.  Relatives and friends invited to attend a Funeral Service at Forsyth Chapel at Forest Hills Cemetery Tuesday morning September 10th at 11 am.   In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Old Colony Hospice 321 Manley St. W.
