Peter J. Nash, Sr.

Peter J. Nash, Sr. passed away suddenly on August 13, 2019. Born in County Kerry, Ireland 74 years ago, he also was a resident of Weymouth and was formerly of Dorchester and Milton. Peter was the late proprietor of Nash's Pub, Dorchester, The All Ireland, Dorchester and the Old Harbor, South Boston. He was a professional contractor and builder and a supporter of the Irish Community, Kerry Football Club and Gaelic Football and Hurling. Longtime partner of Dernella Diver of Weymouth. Devoted father of Daniel J. Nash and his wife, Amy of Dorchester and the late Peter J. Nash, Jr.  Loving Grandpa of Ronan and Ella Nash.  Brother of Mary Jennings of Toronto, Canada, Michael Nash of Randolph and Dermot Nash  of Newton and the late John, James, Catherine, Sheila and Margaret Nash. Former husband of Martha (Miller) Nash. Also survived nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Avenue, Milton, Sunday 4 PM to 8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton Monday morning at 10:30. Burial will be at Milton Cemetery.
