Mary T. Clougherty

Mary T. Clougherty, age 86, formerly of Milton, MA, of Whithouse Station, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Born and raised in South Boston, MA, she resided there until her move to Milton, MA where she raised her family. For the past 4 years she had resided in Whitehouse Station, NJ. There she was active at the Mirota Senior Center and affectionately known as “Boston Mary.” Mary was an avid fan of both the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

The wife of the late Ralph F. Clougherty, who predeceased her in 2003, Mary was the mother of Thomas M. Clougherty of Sunny Isles, FL, Stephen J. Clougherty and his partner Sandy Proule of Hyde Park, MA, Maureen C. Wyckoff and her husband Bill of Whitehouse Station, NJ and Kathleen M. Bostock and her husband Gavin of St. Albans, England, as well as, the cherished grandmother of Ryan Wyckoff, Brennan Wyckoff, Keira Mary Wyckoff, Aidan Bostock and Jacob Bostock. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Dirrane Connolly and sister of the late Katherine Aicardi.

 A Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, MA on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10:30am. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
