Louis H. Maurer

Louis H. Maurer, age 92, passed away peacefully in his loving family’s company on Saturday, February 23rd. Beloved husband of the late Teresa N. (Browne). Devoted father of Barbara O’Driscoll of Cohasset, Louis Maurer of Whitman, Gail Oliveira of Newton, Maryellen Maurer, Paul Maurer and the late John “Jay” Maurer. Dear brother of Donald Maurer of Seabrook, NH and the late Marion Fisher. Also survived by 8 cherished grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Thursday at 10:30am. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday  6 to 8pm. Retired Banker of  South Boston Savings Bank, Union Warren Savings Bank, Milton Savings Bank and Dorchester Savings Bank. WW II Navy Veteran. Donations may be made in his memory of The MSPCA, 350 So. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
