Lenore Carlson Obituary

Lenore A. (LaSala) Carlson , age 94, passed away peacefully on May 24th. She was a resident of Florida and formerly lived in Milton and Norwell.  She graduated from Revere High School in 1943 and a was member of the National Honor Society. In 1944 during WW II she married her late husband Charles A. Catyb and had two children. During the 1960’s she worked for the Boston Redevelopment Authority as a personal assistant to the CEO.  Lenore’s hobby was making outfits for her family and making draperies for her home and she was also was an excellent cook, specializing in Italian dishes. She was fluent in speaking Italian. Her other passion was playing the organ professionally at the 1620 Club in Plymouth, MA and teaching music and organ lessons in her home.  In retirement she moved to FL and there became the President of the Women’s Guild at the Light of Christ Church , Clearwater, Fl. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred P. Carlson. Devoted mother of Carol A. Bowser of Hudson, NC and her husband, Richard and Robert A. Catyb of Hull and his girlfriend, Laura A.Volta. Sister of Armando LaSala of NH and Sabina Kusch of Wakefield.  Loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton Saturday morning at 10.AM Visiting will be at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Saturday morning 8:30AM to 9:30AM prior to Mass.  Interment will be in Milton Cemetery
