O’Connor, Jean M. (Melody), age 70, of N. Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, after a long courageous battle, June 10th. Beloved wife of J. Kevin O’Connor. Devoted mother of Rev. Chris O’Connor, Vice Rector of St. John Seminary, Brighton, Erin Vadala and her husband Scott of Stoughton and Jonathan O’Connor of N. Quincy. Loving “Nanny” of Matthew, Christopher, Nicholas and Noah. Dear sister of Judith of Dorchester, Phillip and his wife Barbara of CO. and Brian Melody and his wife Mary of FL and the late Elizabeth Gorham. Sister-in-law of Maureen Blazuk and Evelyn Pearson. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass at St. Margaret Church of St. Mother Theresa Parish, 800 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, Friday morning at 11:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Thursday 4 to 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
