Georgia E. (MacCleave) Scherban

Georgia E. Scherban (MacCleave) age 100 of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy passed away June 9th at the Dwyer House in Weymouth surrounded by her loving family.  Born and raised in Waltham, she attended Waltham Schools.  Georgia was a devoted wife and mother and worked as a Waitress at Jack and Marion’s Deli in Brookline after raising her children.  As a young girl she enjoyed riding horses and she loved listening to music and shopping. Beloved wife of the late Michael Scherban.  Mother of Joyce F. Scherban of Weymouth, Jean M. Martelli and her late husband Frank of Somerville and Michele A. Rockwell and her husband Jim of Pembroke.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Tuesday 4-7 pm.  Funeral mass at St. Agatha Church Milton Wednesday morning at 10:30.   Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Agatha Church 432 Adams Milton, MA 02186.
