Eleanor M. Egan

Eleanor M. Egan, age 96, of Milton, formerly of Hyde Park passed away August 31st at the Wingate at Needham.  Born in Boston, she was raised in Hyde Park and lived in Milton for many years.  She worked as a Financial Analyst for New England Life Insurance Company for 44 years before retiring.  Beloved daughter of the late Michael & Elizabeth (Flynn) Egan.  Devoted sister of the late Catherine Egan & Winifred Berthiaume.  Loving aunt of Christopher Berthiaume of Newtonville, Daniel Berthiaume of Haverhill, Jeanne Berthiaume of W. Roxbury, and the late Edward Berthiaume.  Also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, & friends.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Thursday morning from 10 to 11 am.   The visitation will be followed by a graveside service at New Calvary Cemetery. Mattapan.
