Dorothy, A. (Murphy) Juliano, age 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 4, 2018. A current resident of the Neponset section of Dorchester, she was born, raised and educated in South Boston where she graduated from South Boston High School. A loving and supportive wife and mother and grandmother, Mrs. Juliano was an honorary member of the VFW in South Boston. For many years she honored deceased WW II veterans by playing taps on the trumpet at their funerals. The beloved wife of the late Richard A. Juliano, she was the devoted mother of Anne M. Juliano of Dorchester, Richard N. Juliano and his wife Lillian of CA, Joseph W. Juliano of Dorchester, Paul M. Juliano and his wife Arleen of Billerica, John P. Juliano of Dorchester, George E. Juliano and his wife AnnMarie of Duxbury, and Mary E. Hayes and her husband Mark of Pembroke. Mrs. Juliano was the dear sister of the late Lorraine Raleigh, William, John, and Edmund Murphy and cherished grandmother of Laquisa, Lilliana, Julian, Jonathan, Nicholas, Gerard, Kelly, Anna, Elizabeth and Genevieve. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann Church, Neponset on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10 am. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Ann Church, 251 Neponset Ave Dorchester, MA 02122.
