Dante A. “Danny Wilson” Ventola, age 91, of Quincy passed away January 15th at Atrium at Faxon Woods in Quincy. He was born in 1927 and raised in Boston’s North End by Italian Immigrants from Avellino, Italy. A resident of Dorchester for 17 years, he eventually settled in the Squantum section of Quincy in 1975. Dante was a retired Letterpress Printer for Daniel’s Printing Company in Everett for 40 years and was a familiar face as a local Italian Singer/Entertainer in and around Boston’s North End and the South Shore. Beloved husband for 33 years of the late Nancy A. (Mariano). Devoted father of Lisa M. Aimola and her husband Christopher of Quincy. Loving grandfather of Evan and Nancy Aimola of Quincy. Brother Armando Ventola of Boston, Carmen Ventola of Everett, Yolanda Gandolfo of Everett, Marianna Hynes of Framingham, and the late Angelo Ventola, Margarita Ferullo, Carmela Corrente, Frank Ventola and Dominic Ventola. Brother in law of Constance Casey and her husband Ralph of Pittsfield and the late Camillo Mariano. Also survived by 24 nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Quincy, Saturday morning at 10:30. Burial Milton Cemetery.
