Paul Lynch, 72, of Milton passed away January 29th after a long and hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s disease and Covid. Paul was born in Milton where he graduated from High School and went on to graduate from AnnaMaria College. He served in the Air Force in Vietnam and after became an officer with the Milton PD for over 30 years. Although rooted in Milton, Paul’s true home was Humarock. He loved spending time there, especially with the family and friends he loved so much. Anyone lucky enough to spend time with him there watched their fair share of Westerns, war movies, Boston sports, and, of course a rather large display of fireworks. He truly lived his life to the fullest doing all the things he loved like boating, fishing, long motorcycle rides and Menemsha Harbor. Paul is survived by: his children, Margaret (Meg) Lynch of Holbrook, Michael and his wife Laurel of Plymouth, Christopher of Humarock, and Brian of Marshfield. His grandchildren, Mackenzie, Colin, and Lily as well as many nieces and nephews. His siblings, John of Indiantown, FL, Kevin and his wife Carolyn of Ellsworth, ME, sister Kathy Haller and her husband Mark of Prides Crossing, MA. He is predeceased by brothers William Lynch of Indiantown, FL and Robert of South Boston. He was a generous, fun loving, and caring man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Donations can be made in his memory to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s foundation. Burial at Bourne National Cemetery Monday September 20, 2021, at 11:00 A.M.  Information can be found through the Alfred Thomas funeral home in Milton.
