Obituary

Michael Keegan Leazott passed away on June 6, 2022.

The beloved son of Mary Kathleen (Keegan) Leazott of Easton and the late Richard V. Leazott. Brother of John R. Leazott of Quincy and Caitlin M. Numrych and her husband Tom of East Bridgewater. Loving uncle to Cameron, Shayne, and Liam Numrych. Grandson of Winifred A. Keegan of Falmouth and the late Laurence Keegan and the late Victor and Marie Leazott,  Michael also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michael grew up in Milton and graduated from Milton High School in 2003 and continued his education at Johnson and Wales University class of 2007. He was an exceptional hockey player, sports enthusiast, animal lover and a wiz at trivia. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. Recently he was living with and caring for his grandmother. Michael’s bright smile and infectious laughter always lit up a room. Larger than life and always up for an adventure, Michael held a special place in the hearts of many and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass at Our Lady of the Visitation Church in Milton (formally St. Mary of the Hills Church) 29 Saint Mary’s Road Milton, MA 02186 on July 22, 2022, at 11:30am. A Celebration of Life will be held at Common Market in W. Quincy, following the mass.

Burial will be private at Milton Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Boston Bulldogs Running Club, who provide a safe community of support for all those adversely affected by addiction. You may donate directly through the Bulldogs website at www.bostonbulldogsrunning.com.
