Catherine M. Meuse

Catherine M. Meuse (Shaughnessy) age 83 of Marshfield, formerly of Mattapan passed away May 2nd.  Born in Boston, she was raised in Mattapan and graduated from Hyde Park High School.  She lived most of her life in Mattapan, and previously lived in Quincy and Braintree before moving to Marshfield.  She worked as a Produce Clerk for Stop and Shop and previously worked for New England Telephone.  She was previously a member of the Mattapan Guys and Girls Club and the Hyde Park and Mattapan Bowling Leagues. 

Beloved wife of the late Vincent J.  Mother of Vincent J. Meuse of Millis, Paul B. Meuse and his wife Eileen of Weymouth, Diane M. Ridge of Marshfield, and Robert F. Meuse and his wife Sarah of Marshfield.  She was pre-deceased by her son in law Thomas J. Ridge and her daughter in law Cathy Meuse.  Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Tuesday 4-7 pm.  Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church Milton Wednesday morning at 10:30.  Burial VA National Cemetery, Bourne.  Donations may be made in Catherine’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
